Indirect Tax EMEA Lead- Commercial Real Estate- c £90-95,000 + bonus and benefits

Are you an experienced, trained Indirect Tax Adviser, who has demonstrable in-house experience, ideally within a partially exempt business. I am representing a commercial real estate appoint a newly revamped hire to lead their Indirect Tax function across the EMEA region.

This is a key role within the wider tax group, tasked to develop group strategy, advise on commercial transactions as well as develop internal processes across the EMEA. With compliance outsourced, this role is a proactive, strategic and solutions driven role with plentiful opportunity for progression.

You would join part of a fast paced, complex business structure, whilst delivering on interesting and diverse advisory work. The company operate an agile and flexible working environment with offices based in Central London.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Leading on Indirect Tax strategy across the business
* Acting as lead contact for any strategic Indirect Tax advisory to business functions.
* Managing outsourced VAT compliance operation across EMEA.
* Building new and reviewing processes whilst continuously seeking to optimise efficiency's.
* Seek to optimise a controls and governance framework to mitigate risk and ensure group is compliant.
* Review PESM methods in some EU entities
* Support from an Indirect Tax perspective the advisory around M&A activity.
* Manage relationship with third parties and lead on any UK VAT audits
* Raising awareness of VAT profile and build relationships with broader business units
