Indirect Tax Compliance Manager
Within this leading Global Indirect Tax Compliance & Services Team of a large practice firm, you will have an interest in developing your experience in indirect tax compliance and developing a career within an established team. You will work on ad hoc global Indirect Tax compliance projects, overseas registrations, e-filing and other interesting and challenging areas of work
Remote working
The role
* Manage a portfolio of clients
* Run and review reports produced by the technology within the organisation
* VAT technical review of draft returns and specific exception reports
* Deal with client financial data and process into Indirect Tax Technologies
* Review exception reports produced by the technology
* Manage deliverable and contractual scope to ensure delivery against compliance obligations
* Select specific transactions for further review
* Liaise/managing the appropriate client personnel
* Ensure high quality service delivery
* Coaching/Mentoring junior members of the team
* Monitor relevant legislation and other changes impacting compliance in Indirect Tax
About you
In order to succeed in this challenging role, it is expected that you will have:
* Good VAT technical knowledge, including EMEA knowledge preferred
* Previous VAT experience
* Excellent communication skills - oral and written
* Ambition and a desire to succeed
* A good team worker
* Ability to work to deadlines and a strict timetable
9 - 12 months, part time options available. Flexible working.
£450 - £500 PAYE day rate
