In-house Global VAT Compliance Manager, Amsterdam (or remotely from anywhere in Europe)

Our client, a fast-growing & successful company, is looking to appoint a Manager with 5-8 years’ international VAT experience to be responsible for global VAT compliance matters for the group. The role can be performed in its EU HQ in Amsterdam or remotely from anywhere in Europe.

Reporting to the Global Indirect Tax Senior Manager (based in Amsterdam) you will be responsible for managing global VAT compliance activities, managing relationships with external providers, working on VAT optimisation, process improvement projects & audits and for providing support on ad-hoc projects.

This position needs someone with VAT compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions, someone who is able to work in a very fast-changing environment, build relationships, be collaborative and can also work autonomously. It will suit someone who is energetic, proactive, hands-on and with strong business partnering skills.

Fluency in English is essential and fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese would be a great advantage.
