Indirect Tax Consultant - 6 months project

Indirect Tax Consultant required for this indirect tax project tax temporary job in London.

Joining an international company's EMEA tax department, this project focused role will support the business across this whole region focusing on indirect tax.

Principal duties will involve:

* Drafting VAT decision trees for the different countries in Europe whilst liaising with local advisers.

* Automating the decision trees for invoicing purposes.

* Presenting the VAT process in a 'Tax Roadshow' to key teams in the business.

* Review of VAT reconciliations for different jurisdictions.

As this is a unique opportunity, it plays to a tax professional's communication skills - in terms of liaising with different finance teams across Europe and with external advisers; and also draws on tax knowledge and analysis of processes for procedure's. VAT awareness is key, but the successful applicant may also have a broader tax background.
