The opportunity
Are you a qualified VAT Manager looking to join an exciting and fast-growing tax team based in the South West of England? Following the recruitment of a VAT Director, this firm is now looking to strengthen the VAT offering, The firm is focussed on sustained growth in key commercial sectors of the South West economy.
In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for managing VAT advisory projects, across a range of client types and sizes. Your work will typically be in VAT technical areas such as land and property, deals and restructuring, international and online trade, and interactions with HMRC. The background to this, is that it is recognised that people do their best work when it is interesting, varied, and fun.

About you
We are looking for someone who has a track record of managing projects and junior staff. You will add value to our clients by delivering high quality VAT advice, whilst building excellent relationships. Having worked in a practice environment you will be happy to work with multiple clients and be able to prioritise your workload to deliver on deadlines and budgets.
Ideally you will be CTA qualified or qualified by experience. This is a brand new role so there will be a great opportunity to grow and mould the role.
