VAT & Customs Manager (3 months) - Working from home - anywhere in the UK - £70k

VAT Manager required, ideally who has some customs experience, for this interim VAT focused job within an in-house tax team function.

Reporting to the Head of Tax and covering for a permanent vacancy and also whilst the tax team goes through a reconfiguration, the VAT & Customs Manager will take ownership of the UK VAT compliance.

Primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

* Preparing the monthly Group VAT return for the UK business.
* Assist on their first MTD return.
* Source information and assist on PESM and TOMS obligations.
* Work with the Customs Agent on the required paperwork for imports and exports.

To be considered for this role you will have UK VAT experience in preparing Group returns and MTD, and will ideally have had Customs exposure, therefore having previously worked for a business with import and export activities in goods.

This position is for an immediate start, within the next week ideally, and will involve all working from home anywhere within the UK.
