Due to the continued success of the department, this highly regarded national accountancy firm is looking to add an Employment Tax Manager to its small but growing team. The team is of a size that this is a key role offering significant visibility and capacity to make a real impact.
You will take responsibility for an existing compliance portfolio, but also get involved in new projects as they come in, ensuring that the work is dealt with efficiently, on time and to budget. This will involve building solid relationships with your clients, as well as managing your team from project start to delivery of the end assignment. There is lots of scope to get involved with the growth of the department and raising awareness of the service line internally, as well as externally.
The team advise their clients across a broad spectrum of UK employment tax issues, and also branch into incentive arrangements and expatriate tax issues on occasion. You should therefore be very technically adept with an ability to research and interpret legislation when required.
A diverse range of relevant employment tax experience is desirable, although there is capacity to skill up on areas not yet covered comprehensively. It is anticipated that you will be CTA or ACA qualified. This is a role with lots of responsibility and lots of opportunity to develop your career.
