Tax Director - Compliance & Transformation - Multiple locations in Europe

As the UK/EU market builds in confidence coming through Covid, a leading Advisor is expanding its tax Compliance and transformation team across the UK and Europe.

The team works in a sector agnostic manner across Managed Services, Tax Transformation & Tax Technical offerings to it market leading client base.

Your role as Director will be to aid multinational groups manage and transform their Tax Operating Model (TOM) to improve compliance, reporting and drive value for their business. Combining your expertise with the firm compliance and transformation capabilities and it will aid drive better visibility, greater efficiency and improved risk management across your client base.

The expansion of this team is an strategic priority for their UK and Global business!

The ideal person will have extensive project management/co-ordination skills and experience (e.g. on global compliance outsourcing engagements or similar projects) along with experience in process, risk and controls design. An awareness or experience of tax and accounting compliance processes (e.g. Direct/Indirect tax returns, statutory accounting) would ideal.

This role is ideal for a person who have deep compliance and reporting expertise (ideally from in-house) and have limited progression opportunities currently and hence would like to step into a Director role with full leadership responsibilities, people responsibilities (managing and hiring), has the confident to engage with Global Heads of Tax (from mid-market to FTSE listed groups) and would like to have true ownership in running some very interesting Tax compliance process improvement/redesign projects.
