A global FTSE-100 Manufacturing business with instantly recognisable brands is seeking to hire an interim International Tax Director to join their nascent restructuring transformation programme. The group has weathered the COVID-pandemic well, utilizing a strong cash reserve and pivoting operations towards cash generating operations in the new world we live in.
This role will be part of a hybrid finance and transformation team, reporting into both the Head of Tax and the Programme Director. The role will be varied, but will largely focus on restucturing the business to be streamlined and agile after becoming very complex and even, bloated. The contract will be an initial 3-6 months but will likely last up to 24 months.
Applicants will hopefully have:
- Good experience of international tax and legislation
- Proven experience of FTSE-100 or Fortune-500 environments, and participation in restructuring
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with both HMRC and international tax authorities
- An understanding and willingness to get stuck in and "hands-dirty"
Whilst this role is being initially pitched as an interim Director opportunity, there is a good chance that relative permanent opportunities will come up in the business during the length of the contract, making this an excellent opportunity to enter into a high-performance, FTSE-listed business.
Daily rate is up to £650pd DOE (within IR35).
