Junior Associate/ Editor - Tax Data and Tables (Latin America), IBFD, Amsterdam, €3, 700 to €4, 300 per month

The IBFD Knowledge Centre is home to most of the tax specialists within IBFD. It is a publications and research department with staff engaged in updating and reviewing IBFD’s publications, conducting research in international tax, and lecturing on various tax topics. The Knowledge Centre is comprised of several Knowledge Groups focused either on particular geographic regions or on specialist international tax topics. The research staff of the Knowledge Centre is drawn from all over the world, mainly having expertise in the tax systems of various countries, as well as specialisation in key areas of taxation.

Junior Associate/ Editor Tax Data and Tables

The Latin America Knowledge Group is part of the IBFD’s Knowledge Centre, and home to the IBFD's best-known publications on the region. The Team is also responsible for other publications and products with a focus on corporate transactions such as International Tax Structuring, the BEPS Implementation Monitor, etc.

The successful applicant will be engaged as Editor with tax technical and editorial responsibility on news reports from the Latin America region as well as tables covering other regions.

Responsibilities and activities

 Monitoring on tax developments in countries of responsibility
 Maintain a network of authors and correspondents
 Editing and tax technical review of IBFD publications, with a primary focus on contextual news reports, tables and other tax technical material when required
 Providing occasional support to other departments of IBFD

Requirements

 Up to three years’ relevant professional experience with a tax/advisory firm or governmental agency dealing with domestic and/or international tax law
 Knowledge of international tax and current policy trends
 A university degree in law, accountancy, economics or related areas, or a postgraduate degree in taxation
 Good knowledge of the tax law of at least one Latin-American country

Skills

 Excellent writing and editorial skills
 A sharp eye for detail
 Excellent communication skills
 Excellent command of the English language (knowledge of other languages will be an asset)

Salary & fringe benefits

We offer a full-time position with a salary, depending on background and relevant work experience, between EUR 3,700 and EUR 4,300 gross per month.
