Your new company
Hays are working with this growing organisation within the public sector located in the Fife & Perthshire area. They are currently undergoing change and growth, recently acquiring multiple new business. As a result, they are looking to grow their Finance department and add a new Assistant Finance Manager to the new locations.


Your new role
This newly created position will be taking over the financial management duties for the 2 newest acquisitions and be located between both offices in the Perthshire and Fife area. You will be responsible for overseeing transnational staff in each location also. Duties will include but not be limited to providing financial management and accounting services to external partners, in line with their Financial Regulations, Financial Procedures, Treasury Management Policies. Strategic and operational support services to external partners', managers and staff team. Managing the production and delivery of regular financial reports and the preparation of returns. Coordinating and engaging with the external partners' management and staff teams to actively coordinate the financial year end process for the external partners.


What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant, otherwise qualified by experienced. A technically adept individual who is confident in both their technical and management skills. Advanced Excel skills are an asset and you must be comfortable communicating with others as this role will be liaising with new business users. UK drivers license necessary.
