The CFO for a leading Private Equity Firm is looking to hire a Head of Tax to oversee and advise on the structuring of Fund acquisitions with a principal focus on M&A.
Responsibilities:
* Structuring of Fund acquisitions
* Co-ordination and management of external advisors
* Support the transaction team in structuring the financing arrangements
* Review of contract documentation for consistency of implementation with planning
* Creation, review and supervision of Funds Flow in conjunction with Finance Team
* Management of implementation of structure and closing process
* Design and implementation of LTIPs
* Ongoing monitoring of structure for impact of new legislation etc
* Oversee and advise on portfolio company re-organisations, restructurings, refinancing's and exits
* Liaison with CFO/Finance Team/board level
* Assist on tax and structuring aspects of Partner's private investments
* Assist on tax affairs of the Fund and the Advisor
* Dealing with Inland Revenue queries/correspondence
Background:
* Qualified accountant or Tax Lawyer
* Tax qualifications an advantage
* Specific experience of private equity, and ideally LBO transactions
* Confident, articulate individual who inspires confidence in their execution capability with senior members of the organisation as well as external counterparties and advisors
* Audit/financial accounting experience an advantage
