Tax Valuations Director, Top 10 firm, London, paying up to £175,000 base plus bonus and benefits

Your new company
You will be joining a Top 10 Accountancy firm in Central London for their Tax Valuations department. The team prepare valuations for HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) as well as tax authorities in overseas jurisdictions. They have considerable expertise in negotiating complex valuations with the tax authorities in order to obtain the optimal result for their clients.

Your new role
The team are widely responsible for valuations for a wide range of purposes which have potential tax consequences including:

* Family succession, IHT planning and for separation or divorce
* All forms of share valuations including for CSOP, EMI and ESS
* Valuation of shares and other assets held by departing employees
* Management incentive valuations under ITEPA or other income tax purposes
* Valuations for the IRS or other tax jurisdictions
* Due diligence prior to a company sale
* Transfers of intellectual property
* Capital gains disposals
* Goodwill valuations

As a Director on the team you will report direct into Partners supporting them in their business development efforts and leading your own too.

You must be capable of executing robust technical valuation analyses for a variety of purposes but with a primary focus on tax engagements.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered you must hold significant tax valuation experience gained ideally from another professional services firm. It is also imperative you hold fluency in a number of valuation techniques including: discounted cash flow, multiples analysis, options and other derivatives pricing, intangible asset valuation techniques. Candidates must be qualified.
