Description
You will be responsible for the management, review and provision of both corporate and personal tax services. The role will have a corporate tax emphasis, whilst maintaining a good mix across the two areas. For example, the firm has in excess of 350 personal tax clients and you will review these, managing the wider tax team, reviewing work and build relationships with clients, perhaps an element of hands on involvement as well in complex cases (on some HNWI clients for example). You will oversee liaising with HMRC and overseeing the successful delivery of personal tax services. On the corporate tax side, the firm deals with approximately 250 corporate tax clients, across wide ranging OMBs, SMEs up to around £30million in turnover on largest clients and you will manage the provision of compliance services on this side also. Their will also be significant opportunity to identify and deliver advisory and planning solutions across both personal and corporate tax, p moulded to some degree, around the strengths and background of the right professional, so this could cover projects across, such as corporate restructuring, due diligence tax, dividend vs salary planning, CGT planning, as non- exhaustive examples.
You will have opportunity to carve a key managerial role in the business, developing long term relationships with your clients, adding value to clients and the firm, with excellent prospects for longer term progression, for this seeking a career path and route to partner/director level.
Profile
You will either hold any of ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent, or suitably experienced with a background in corporate and personal tax as an experienced Tax Manager, overseeing the delivery of compliance tax services, along with significant advisory and planning skills. Its is likely your experience will have been gained in any of small, medium or large independent firm environment, or Top 50 , Mid or Top Tier background and you will be looking for a Tax Managerial position, where you can join a highly successful, independent firm of chartered accountants, where you can carve a pivotal role, with prospects for progression and career development .
Job Offer
Circa £35,000 - £50,000 - dependent on the background and experience of the right individual, plus benefits, negotiable.
