Specialist accountancy practice seeking an tax senior for their office in Manchester | £25,000-£35,000 (DOE)
Your new company
A leading management and professional services company based out of the UK and US, with an office in Manchester. This firm's accountancy arm provides a portfolio of services to a wide range of clients consisting of leaders in the entertainment and music industry.
Your new role
You will lead the preparation and submission of personal, partnership and corporation tax returns for a defined portfolio, liaise with clients, HMRC and Accountants in relation to clients tax returns and assist with HMRC enquiries including researching and preparing relevant paperwork where appropriate. You will process new clients and register clients for Self-Assessment through HRMC, complete VAT registration applications process overseas VAT and tax refunds. You will identify tax planning opportunities where possible and assist Directors with the planning and more complex HMRC enquiries.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of working for a reputable accountancy practice with experience in the above matters and ideally be ATT/CTA qualified. You will have the ability to answer general tax queries and experience in dealing with HMRC enquiries alongside a high level of written and verbal communication.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of between £25,000-£35,000 DOE in addition to 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. You will also receive access to flexible working , Private Medical and Life Insurance after 12 months service and staff equity share and bonus scheme.
