UK Tax Manager - In House, South London

Qualifications: ATT/ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualified
Description: An instantly recognisable, global brand, based in South London, are currently looking for a UK Tax Manager as they look to add to their growing, and highly prestigious tax team. This is a newly created role, offering the successful candidate the rare opportunity to take ownership of the tax function.

Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of all UK tax affairs including; VAT & UK Corporation Tax compliance and US tax reporting.

- Provide advice to the business on tax and financial processes in order to optimise these functions.

- Ensuring that the tax function is currently hitting the requirements for Making Tax Digital.

- Manage Indirect tax queries including VAT and audit queries from HMRC and the wider business, providing expert advice

Requirements:

- ATT/ACA/CTA qualified from a Top Tier practice or commercial background, with prior In-House experience.

- Experience or exposure to both US & UK GAAP tax accounting is preferable
- Excellent communication skills are essential, able to quickly build relationships and ensuring clarity to non-tax personnel.
