You are CTA qualified or part qualified, with significant experience of providing tax compliance services, including reviewing tax returns and computations, to corporate OMB clients in your career to date.
You are at least reasonably familiar with tax planning work and will have provided some tax advice to clients in relation to capital gains, capital allowances and company restructuring matters.
Tax planning work will include areas such as group tax planning, property planning, capital allowances, R&D tax credits, s455 tax planning and transfer pricing.
This is a responsible role within the tax department, and you will be reporting to tax partners, providing assistance with ad hoc projects on occasions.
You will be a confident communicator and experienced in managing and mentoring junior colleagues, reviewing work and providing guidance where necessary.
The right person for this role may currently be an experienced tax manager seeking a step up to senior manager, or a sideways move to another managerial position. You are likely to be currently working for a large or medium-sized accountancy firm with a strong tax practice that sits within the owner managed business space.
