Group Tax Manager - In House - London

Our client is a Global Multinational business looking to hire an Group Tax manager to join their central London team.

This is a very particular role as has a lot of autonomy and reports to the Group Financial Controller, however is a very dynamic team & they help each other too. Or a chance to run your own shop

The Group Tax Manager position will work in close cooperation with the Regional Financial Controllers and tax specialists in other Group entities. There will be frequent interaction with other functions such as Corporate Affairs, Business Development, Treasury, Legal and Financial Control, and also with the Group Finance Manager and the PLC Financial Accountant on UK tax issues including VAT and EU sales etc.

80% Advisory focus.

This is a Group tax title position and great in terms of progression for someone that is a manager level to accelerate in their career.

This is an independent role , autonomous and has to suit someone very confident as is a decision maker, and there is a lot of interaction with very senior stakeholders.

YOU

Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) and/or qualified tax advisor (CTA or equivalent).

Mergin markets experience

Experience in international tax projects & UK

Skilled communicator within and across disciplines.
