A Top 10 Professional Services firm with an international presence seeks a permanent Personal Tax Assistant Manager or Manager grade individual. The role has arisen due to market growth. The primary location is based in Northampton, but the firm offers the opportunity to work in the Birmingham or Leicester offices under a flexible arrangement.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for reviewing personal tax returns and supervising complex work drafted by junior staff.
There is an expectation that the right candidate will have sound knowledge of personal tax issues to provide intelligent and creative solutions to clients on a proactive and reactive basis.
You will be expected to demonstrate sufficient leadership skills to manage a team to the agreed service standard, and be able to work effectively in delegating and reviewing a team's performance whilst aiding their professional development.
Candidates should have good communication skills, initiative and organisation in order to build up a network of clients and so in turn understand their expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
- ATT and/or CTA qualified, or demonstrable practice experience
- Evidence of managing a team either in an Assistant Tax Manager or Tax Manager role
