Tax reporting & compliance up to £90k - 6 months FTC

This marketing & research business based in West London is looking for a contractor to cover a permanent member of staff and assist them through their year end period from mid-October until the end of March. You will support the Global Tax Manager on UK tax compliance, reporting and providing ad hoc direct tax advisory support to all businesses in the group.

Tax Accounting and Reporting

* Work closely with Group Tax and overseas businesses to prepare consolidated tax provision for Group reporting purposes.
* Provide necessary tax journals to finance to correct the reported tax position.
* Work with outsource providers to prepare the consolidated group tax provision workings and disclosures
* Be the main point of contact for the external auditors in managing the tax audit and answering their questions in a timely manner.
* Work with Finance to prepare tax forecasts for the business
* Prepare the UK corporate tax returns and supporting computations for all UK entities using Alphatax.

The ideal candidate will have good experience in tax reporting & compliance and accounting experience, ideally within a large PLC or multinational organisation. You will need to be technically strong in corporate tax accounting with a thorough understanding of IFRS tax reporting requirements.
