Corporate & Business Tax Manager, Kent (Close to London)

Located within easy reach of central London, this established firm of Chartered Accountants boast a prized tax department which provides tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of corporate clients.

An opportunity has arisen for a CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified tax adviser with several years of experience to manage the firm’s corporate and business tax service offering.

Reporting to the head of tax, this is an exciting role offering a competitive salary and prospects for progression, including up to partnership in the medium term.

The role in brief:

Undertaking advisory and planning work for OMB’s, SME’s, LLPs and partnerships

Reviewing tax computations prepared by the audit and accounts teams with a view to identifying issues and spotting opportunities to add value when possible

Working with the tax and corporate finance partners in relation to corporate transactions including company sales and purchases, MBO’s, purchases of own shares etc

Assisting with the ongoing development of the tax practice through working with the head of tax on client seminars, press articles, newsletters, networking and internal training

About you:

CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, with corporate and business tax experience gained within a reputable firm of accountants

Experience of handling both tax advisory and tax compliance work, although this role is advisory-weighted in nature

Technically and commercially astute, personable, ambitious and an excellent communicator
