The company
FTSE 250 organisation is seeking interim support on a variety of tax issues including compliance and reporting, transfer pricing and international tax advisory.
The role
Day to day responsibility for Group tax reporting under IFRS, including year-end and half-year reporting and liaising with Group Finance regarding tax accounting queries
Regular forecasting of the Group's effective tax rate and cash tax position
Management of the tax aspects of treasury matters, including implementation of internal dividend policy, dealing with withholding tax matters and maintenance of a summary debt map for the Group
Providing input in relation to tax risk management matters, including maintenance of tax compliance summaries for major overseas jurisdictions
Overseeing compliance with the UK Senior Accounting Officer regime including the review of documentation and controls across all UK taxes
Working with the Tax & Finance Accountant and operating companies to ensure compliance with the UK patent box and research and development tax regimes
Dealing with HMRC queries and correspondence
Reviewing transfer pricing outcomes and preparing / updating transfer pricing documentation eg group masterfile
Business restructuring and divestments
Legal entity reorganisations
Acquisition due diligence and structuring, and post-acquisition integration.
About You:
ACA and/or CTA Qualified
Experience of tax accounting under IFRS
Some exposure to transfer pricing is desirable but not essential
