Hays Finance are pleased to partner with this exciting US owned Fortune 500 company who are seeking a Controller to join their finance team. The company require a dynamic individual who is a fully qualified accountant with knowledge of SOX and US GAAP compliance.
Your new role
As the Controller for this company, you will join a finance team of 10 and will report to the UK Finance Director with a dotted line to the CFO in Italy. The role will encompass a range of duties necessary to implement and maintain a sustainable control environment, such as segregation of duties, implementation of control and approval procedures, management of disbursement controls and revenue recognition.
Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to reporting and analysis tasks and completing corporate compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this job you will be a qualified and experienced accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a full knowledge of SOX and US GAAP compliance.
You must be a dynamic individual with strong communication skills with the ability to work to deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX is desirable in addition to proficiency in Excel and Word.
This role also requires you to be able to travel between two site locations to perform tasks effectively.
