Big 4 - Private Client Tax Manager, London

A Big 4 firm is looking for ambitious Managers to join their Private Client Tax team in the City. This is a great opportunity to help drive and grow the business within this global firm's tax practice.

As a leading accountancy firm, this role will provide you with the opportunity for promotion and career progression as the role has a clear business case for progression to senior manager for the right candidate.

They work with a wide range of individuals including chief executives, entrepreneurs, private equity and hedge fund principles, family offices and celebrities to plan and report their persona tax affairs. This includes tax preparation, optimising their wealth from a tax perspective, estate and succession planning and tax inheritance.

Key responsibilities:

• Taking a lead role in managing high profile client relationships as well as building relationships and personal networks around the firm
• Involved in the support and development of more junior staff and managing individual work streams
• Pursuit of business development opportunities identified by other service lines in the firm (through audit, corporate finance or wider tax relationships)

Key skills and qualifications:

• ACA/CTA or equivalent
• Technical and practical knowledge and experience in advising UK and non-UK domiciles individuals and families
• Client driven and strategically and commercially aware
• Effective time management, ability to remain calm when under pressure to meet deadlines
• Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral
