This NYSE listed global insurance company is known for delivering quality service to its clients. The company, though formed in the second half of the 20th century, has seen vast growth and has become a player in the international insurance market. With over 60 offices across 6 continents, this company has become synonymous with quality. The company are now looking for a new Head of Compliance and Reporting to take control of a dedicated hard-working team.

Your new role
As the Head of Tax Reporting and Compliance you will be partially responsible for leading the development and execution of the Group's Tax vision to be a commercially minded team which connects with the business to provide trusted and timely advice to maximize shareholder value by effectively managing tax risk. This will be a strategic role with overall responsibility for US GAAP and local GAAP reporting for all operations in Europe, Asia and Latin America as well as the corporate tax compliance. You will also:

* Set the strategic direction for the corporate tax function which effectively manages the Tax compliance and reporting across the world.

* Be primarily responsible for management and control of the company's Corporate Income Tax and Operational and Transaction tax compliance and reporting for Europe, Asia and Latin America
* Assume primary responsibility for identification, measurement and the management of Corporate Income Tax risks
* Assumes primary responsibility for coordination of significant tax return positions, tax exposures and tax accounting entries

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong background in US GAAP and IFRS accounting, with solid experience in international tax. Previous experience in the insurance industry is desirable, but not necessary. You will also be able to lead, coach, and delegate work to a team of more junior staff.
