Your new company
Niche tax consultancy providing tax advice to ultra-high-net-worth individuals (including billionaires) and their families. This is a financially stable firm who invoice clients in quarterly instalments - there are no timesheets or no sales targets. They are not a tax planning boutique, they offer old fashioned, sound commercially based tax advice and compliance.
Your new role
Coming from a predominantly income tax background, you will advise on off shore matters (s720 ITA 2007, s86/87 TCGA 1992) and advise non UK trusts on UK tax matters. Experience of dealing with non UK domiciled individuals and on EIS/SEIS investments would also be helpful. Previous personal tax compliance experience will be useful - they are a small team so being willing to roll up your sleeves in January does matter!
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally ACA and/or CTA qualified, applicants should enjoy problem solving and working through legislation. Tax technical ability and quality delivery should be at the heart of your success. You should be happy to work independently and be confident when speaking to clients.
