Senior Transfer Pricing Manager for Global Investment Manager, Henley-On-Thames

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the tax function of one of the largest asset management firms globally for a Senior Transfer Pricing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for all areas of transfer pricing including the development of policies, planning, risk analysis and the monitoring of transfer pricing legislation. Job Purpose:

The position will report to the Head of Tax and provide support in different aspects of the transfer pricing functions, working on all aspects of intercompany pricing arrangement between related business entities including sub-advisory services, intangible goods, shared services arrangement and intercompany financing arrangements. The role has broad responsibilities covering reporting, compliance and planning initiatives.

Additional responsibilities include developing global transfer pricing policies that align with business functionality, planning and audit defense support, expense and revenue allocation methodologies globally across all business lines, and conduct global transfer pricing risk analyses.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

* To ensure transfer pricing policies are effectively implemented and documentation is in place (US/OECD or locally compliant transfer pricing documentation)
* Track and monitor all related party transactions; gather data on related party transactions from Finance and other sources
* Manage tax controversy risk and strategy. Manage transfer pricing audits and questions from tax authorities
* Monitor changes to transfer pricing legislation and perform impact assessment as appropriate
* Developing and delivering holistic tax strategies and policies (specifically developing and executing transfer pricing strategy and framework) in partnership with tax leaders and business stakeholders
* Researching transfer pricing issues
* Drafting and delivering transfer pricing planning and documentation reports
* Tax controversy strategy and audit management
* Assist in the development of transfer pricing models and functional surveys used to calculate service revenue and expense allocations as well as management services cross charges
* Work with Accounting, Financial Systems, and Shared Services teams to ensure transfer pricing entries are properly recorded in accordance with intercompany agreements
* Support implementation of BEPS country by country reporting

Work Experience / Knowledge:

* Financial services / Asset management experience preferred (but not required)
* ACA or CTA qualified or equivalent experience of working in transfer pricing
* Detailed understanding of key areas of tax legislation and an excellent understanding of transfer pricing and OECD pricing guidelines
* Previous transfer pricing experience in public accounting, equivalent consulting or industry experience
* Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Visio
* Capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, rapidly-changing, and high-growth organisation and handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Identifying new opportunities to better serve clients and appropriately planning and prioritising time and resources to deliver superior results
