Senior Tax Manager (In House), London

This individual will assist in the provision and delivery of high quality tax advice and reporting for the Group, reporting to the Head of Tax. This position offers excellent opportunities for the right candidate to identify any tax efficiencies that benefit the Group and deliver the recommended solution. The role will be broad in nature covering all taxes but with a willingness to focus either on corporate taxes or VAT.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for managing the process and delivering tax filings that are compliant with relevant laws and regulations
* Build relationships across the business to provide relevant tax planning and expertise for new initiatives
* Identify and mitigate tax risks
* Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
* Minimise VAT liabilities and compliance issues
* Ensure all month end processes are actioned on a timely basis for VAT
* Maximise efficiencies in working and reporting processes for tax
* Inputting into the group's tax strategy
* Prepare tax judgement papers as required

Required background

* Qualified tax professional (eg CTA, ACA, ACCA)
* Significant post qualification experience with demonstrable experience of providing accurate tax advice
* Self-motivated to seek out improvements and offer solutions
* Good understanding of finance processes, risks and controls for a fast growing organisation
* Analytical skills with detail orientation
* Excellent excel and power point skills
