Personal Tax portfolio manager needed for independent firm in St Helens, £25,000-£33,000
Your new company
A chartered accountancy practice based in St Helens with a dedicated personal tax team of four and a broad and varied client base. Due to retirement, this firm are looking to recruit a new and experienced personal tax portfolio manager to manage the compliance aspect of a portfolio of circa 200 personal tax clients.
Your new role
Your will be accountable for managing your own portfolio of Personal tax clients consisting of partners and directors of SME's, high net-worth individuals, and some trust returns. Your new role will involve the preparation and submission of personal tax returns, P11D's, client and HMRC liaison in regards to tax affairs and spotting new business via means of referral and cross selling. For candidates with considerable experience in personal tax, ad hoc advisory work
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will have experience of managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients within practice will be a confident in communicating with clients and generating new business. You will also be CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent/ qualified by experience.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary dependent on your experience of between £25,000-£33,000 and 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. You will also receive the opportunity to work part time or with flexible working hours.
