Your remit will be broad and your primary responsibilities will be concerned with tax, but the ideal candidate would have experience in the following areas:
Tax
* Oversight of the outsourced tax compliance process
* Development of a robust tax strategy along with policies, processes and systems to support it
* Optimisation of the Group Tax position through the identification and implementation of planning opportunities.
* Defining and implementing the group's transfer pricing policy and ensuring adequate documentation
* Supporting the business on all tax queries
* Oversight of country-by-country reporting
* Tax Accounting
Treasury
* Treasury cash flow forecasting and daily cash management
* Advising on the Treasury aspects of any re-financing initiatives
* Leading any future refinancing and private placement
* Managing the Group's position with regard to foreign currency and interest rate exposures
* Financing of acquisitions and any new operations that are established
* Responsibility for Group Treasury internal reporting.
* Responsibility for the Head Office Treasury Management and electronic banking systems.
In order to take advantage of this exciting opportunity, you will preferably be a chartered accountant with a sound, technical skills set and the ability to build strong working relationships. You will also need to be able to provide timely, pragmatic advice in a rapidly evolving, commercial environment.
