Responsibilities Include:
* Providing system and process support throughout Trading Partner deployment program.
* Trade Route Master file review to identify the tax requirements
* Identifying tax requirements and providing data on this
* provide support on downstream processes, such as compliance and BAU handover
* Acting as day to day point of contact for SLO Teams;
* Identifying, prioritising and addressing issues;
* Providing presentations to stakeholders
* Resolution of tax related tickets and managing process for tax related system, process or SOP enhancements; liaising with Tax/ IT Support
* Process lead as appropriate
* Tax configuration documentation
* Managing approval and implementation of ERP changes or enhancement required to accommodate legislative changes and business changes impacting tax
* Assisting and supporting in VAT Implementation from operational perspective
* (PFC liaison, BCR drafting, TRB submission, follow up)
Knowledge/ Education / Previous Experience Required
Preferred Level of Education ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent
Awareness of the tax regimes in EMEA/APAC and a good understanding of general tax principles and the associated ERP configuration for tax purposes.
Indirect tax experience
Track record in SAP systems related tax configuration
Experience and understanding of EMEA/APAC tax systems are preferred.
Practical experience of the Tax set up of ERP systems is required
