Tax Technician, Ely

Tax Accountant Job for large accountancy practice in Ely. Salary £22-25k

Tax technician required for established practice in Ely. You will be working within the private client tax department in the provision of high quality compliance services for a range of private clients including high net worth individuals, directors of small and medium sized companies and Trustees.

* Preparation of draft self-assessment tax returns including capital gains computations and preparation of statements of income from property.
* Monitor the progress of tax return preparation and payment of tax through the tax cycle.
* Production of P11D's.
* Load tax return information on Digita to produce returns and calculations.
* Presenting the returns and related services to clients with appropriate explanations.
* Production of bills on a timely basis.
* Write tax return progress reports and monitor database for accuracy.
* Attend tax user group meetings and give appropriate feedback.
* Provide technical assistance to non-tax staff.
* General Liaise with and support work colleagues as required.
* Participate in internal / external meetings as required.
* Identify and meet personal job-related training and development as required.
* Provide assistance in terms of general and specific support to Partners and Managers.
* Undertake appropriate training to ensure CPD criteria are met.

To be successful, you will be ATT qualified/studying or AAT looking to specialise in tax.
