Personal Tax Manager - Work with the UK's rich list

A lot of people join this team because they have experience working with some very complex clients (alongside a lot of other simpler clients) and want the complex work to be their focus, not a side project. This role will give you the opportunity to work with the UK’s rich list on a daily basis.

The team specialises in helping Ultra HNWIs manage their fortunes. This may include setting up trust structures, relocating to and from the UK or the personal tax implications of the sale of their business. When approaching an issue with their clients, the staff rarely talk in terms of thousands but rather in terms of millions. The constant exposure to such a complicated client base makes this team one of the best personal tax teams in the UK.

The partners have identified the need to bring on a personal tax manager to support the team’s growing client base. You will work directly with the partners on their project work; including contributing in client meetings and delivering advisory pieces. You will also be responsible for your own portfolio of these clients which will involve constant client contact and the management of complex compliance work.

Culturally this team feels more like a family than a personal tax department. New members are welcomed with open arms. I recently placed a tax professional into this team and his feedback has been only positive. Everyone has been very supportive from the outset and helped him get his feet firmly under the table.
