Following a strategic restructure, the need has arisen for a Senior International Tax & Transfer Pricing Manager within the Group Tax Team. In this role, you will work closely with the business to identify international tax planning risks and opportunities. Furthermore, you will support commercial operations to be compliant with local regulations and provide strategic tax advice on new business initiatives, models and M&A.
Key responsibilities:
Advisory
• Delivery of tax advice to a portfolio of global businesses in relation to new business opportunities and proposals
• Provide transfer pricing advice on major transactions and projects
• Manage the identification and implementation of tax planning initiatives
• Raise awareness of transfer pricing issues within the Group and effectively communicate tax issues to management
• Manage the analysis of changes to transfer pricing rules on a global basis
• Manage the implementation of changes in tax laws
Compliance & Governance
• Review and maintain transfer pricing policies for the Group
• Contribute towards maintenance and enhancement of relationships with external authorities around the world
• Manage external professional service providers on tax technical matters
• Contribute toward Centre of Excellence for transfer pricing queries
• Provide support to compliance team in relation to transfer pricing studies and reports
• Manager transfer pricing audits and enquiries
About you:
• ACA/CTA qualified
• Proven UK Corporate Tax background
• International tax background with strong transfer pricing advisory skills
• Big 4 training preferred
• Commercial experience preferred
• Able to discuss tax technical matters in plain language.
