Opportunity to lead a VAT function
Your new company
Our client, a leading Scottish CA firm, is currently in the market for a VAT Partner to join their leadership team in Scotland and manage the VAT function.
Your new role
This exciting job is pivotal to the business in Scotland as you will act as the main point of contact for client relationships for all VAT related work, identify new opportunities by networking and developing business relationships, work closely with the Partners to develop client relationships, lead all VAT projects and reviews along with any ad hoc client requirements. You will be responsible for a large VAT team across a number of offices, and as such, the position can be based in several different locations.
What you'll need to succeed
A strong track record within the field of VAT and excellent leadership skills as well as business development / client management skills. You will be both technically strong, and possess strong soft skills, resilience and ambition.
