AJ Chambers are delighted to be working with a Top 50 firm to recruit a Corporation Tax Senior for their Norwich office. A fantastic opportunity to join a leading practice within a role providing a competitive remuneration package as well as the opportunity for extensive commercial exposure to the firm’s business development activities.
The Role
Responsibilities will include;
● Preparation of corporation tax returns
● Provision of advisory services to existing clients deal with by the firm
● Contributing to the continuing development of the department through engaging in business development and marketing to current and potential clients
● Development of skills through training and development of colleagues
● Maintaining a strong level of current, relevant technical knowledge for performance of your own day-to-day duties as well as dissemination to colleagues
● Assisting with client service by responding to queries from colleagues with particular regard to business taxes, corporation tax, capital allowances, research and development tax credits and patent box; providing advice on / reviewing client problems / planning; preparing CT computations of large / medium companies; reviewing specific tax sensitive transactions
The Candidate
● CTA/ ACA/ ACCA part or fully qualified
● Able to demonstrate a solid level of practical corporate tax experience
● Strong, client focussed, commercial and technical expertise
● Excellent communication skills
● Able to follow and develop business development opportunities
● Desire to network and develop professional contacts
● Strong analytical and organisational skills
