Audit Manager - Top 100 Accountancy Firm

AJ Chambers are currently recruiting in support of a valued Top 100 Accountancy Practice, based in Central London. Our client wants to fill an Audit Manager position with an ambitious and motivated individual whom is looking for great progression and development.

Responsibilities;

● Manage a portfolio of clients including corporate audits across a range of sectors
● Planning, managing and completing statutory audits
● Supervise/manage Audit Trainees and Seniors
● Completion of support work for Partner
● Ensuring internal and external deadlines are met
● Attending regular prospective client meetings
● Being the point of contact for the audit engagement team
● Managing the overall service delivery to clients
● Assist in the general running of the audit department when necessary
● Perform a consulting role to a portfolio of clients

The ideal candidate;

● ACA/ACCA Qualified (or equivalent)
● Excellent communication skills, able to communicate at all levels internally and externally
● Compelling experience in managing staff
● Substantial experience in advising, mentoring and reviewing audits
● Experience with CCH or other similar software is desirable, not essential
● Strong organisational skills
