Randstad Inhouse Services is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as an Inventory Record Accuracy Auditor, with our client Perkins Engines (Stafford). This role will support the supply chain department through conducting inventory location counts to verify actual stock in comparison to the system, and carry out root-cause analysis where discrepancies are found.
Key responsibilities
* Conduct physical audits of multiple stock locations across the facility (warehouse/assembly lines/off-site storage facilities)
* Complete necessary administration tasks relating to audits
* Identify root-causes of discrepancies
* Ensure completion of required audit schedules to meet deadlines
* Report results/findings to supervisor
* Update software systems with audit results
* Offer suggestions for continuous improvements (i.e. improving productivity/process/safety/environment)
* Work safely and according to local safety regulations at all times
We're looking for people who have;
* Minimum of 6 months prior warehouse experience, ideally within a similar role
* Experience of MFG Pro or similar (desirable - training will be given)
* Motivation and drive to achieve targets
* An understanding of working to safe practices, adhering to health and safety requirements
* Excellent level of attention to detail
* Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
The role is based on a day shift (7:45am - 4:30pm), but flexibility is required to ensure that business needs are met.
