Our client is a global infrastructure company looking for a bright Corporate tax advisor to join their team in central London.
You will provide first level tax support to our client's European business and finance teams.
You will support the Head of Tax, Europe, in the day-to-day work of the tax department.
KEY AREAS
*Provide commercially astute, strategic and technically accurate tax advice to key stakeholders in the region, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to tax risk management
*Tax structuring for major projects for all business units. This will involve co-ordination and collaboration with external advisers, group tax, business and the finance team
*First point of contact for the regional tax services team with responsibility for regional tax reporting, governance and compliance
*Foster and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across functions.
*Retain an oversight and advise the Head of Tax, Europe, on relevant new or proposed legislation, decisions, regulations and rulings in tax and related areas.
*Assisting on resolving disputes with HMRC

YOU MUST HAVE
Extensive UK Corporate and International Tax
Can be relied upon to make good decisions based on a mixture of analysis and experience
Is skilled at making the complex simple and clearly articulating the essence of the business and important topics
The ability to create strong internal and external network and professional groups to ensure best practice.
