Custody/ Fund Accounting, Financial services- London , The City

A global financial services company are looking to recruit a custody and fund accounting senior associate for its London offices based in The City. You will be required to prepare and review interim and final accounts and associated reconciliation packs for a variety of funds produced personally and by team members.
Working with the tax team to prepare corporation tax and income tax computations for insertion in the accounts and submission to relevant regulatory bodies. Be responsible to ensure quarterly tax reviews are undertaken for reasonableness of taxation accrual.
You will be expected to handle all queries from clients, CSO, auditors, trustees, custodians and other stakeholders. Perform quality and internal controls in respect of all team deliverables and be involved in day to day planning of accounts team workload and departmental ad-hoc projects.

You must have an ACCA or CIMA or equivalent and have at least 2 to 3 years previous experience of financial reporting for Investment Trusts, Unit Trusts, OEIC's or other Collective Investment Schemes. You must possess working knowledge of IFRS, FRS102, FRS104 and equivalent accounting standards, have numeracy/literacy skills, with attention to detail. Be PC literate and competent in use of spreadsheets and word processing and you must have a good understanding of fund administration.
