About the Tax Reporting Manager role:

In this newly created Tax Reporting Manager position you will be responsible with leading the Tax reporting process across the group. This will include the day to day management of the global process (including risk), whilst also continuing to looking to improve the overall procedure of the reporting process.

Key responsibilities

* To ensure the group are compliant with the International Accounting Standard for Tax (IAS12) and appropriate and accurate tax disclosures are internally and externally
* To ensure Group Tax policies and processes are properly implemented and consistently applied
* To streamline reporting and forecasting processes across the Group and to maximise efficiencies
* To support the Head of Tax Reporting in implementing and maintaining the global tax risk framework and supporting governance and reporting requirements
* Annual PRA Stress test
* Bi-Annual EBA Stress Test
* Annual CRD IV Country-by Country Reporting
* Annual BEPS Country by Country Reporting
* Quarterly UK Group Payment Arrangement Calculations
* Annual Operating Plan (5-year forecast)
* Financial modelling for ad-hoc projects (e.g. ring-fencing, HQ domicile, planning initiatives etc)

Key requirements

* Qualified tax professional (preferably Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Institute of Taxation or equivalent)
* Specialist knowledge and experience in IFRS tax reporting
* Specialist experience in financial services preferred
* Experience in managing process change
* Strong communication, problem solving, analytical and project management skills
* Commercial awareness and sound judgement
