Financial Accountant, Coventry, Manufacturing, Up to £35,000 plus benefits

A well established Coventry based business, is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant. This is the key Financial Reporting role in the Finance team reporting in to the Finance Manager.
Your new role
The roles & responsibilities for the Financial Accountant will include the preparation of Financial statements; Local and Group reporting; General ledger reconciliation; Liquidity management; Prepare and process Quarterly/Annual VAT returns; Intercompany reconciliation and recharges; Preparation of the Tax pack for distribution to external auditor; Preparation of Office of National statistics reports; supporting the supervision of Accounts payable and Intrastat reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be part-qualified or a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA); in the case of the former study support to complete their professional qualification is an option. Experience and knowledge of Statutory and other legal requirements (UK GAAP, IFRS, Tax law, VAT etc), and SAP experience would be an advantage.
