Tax Trainee for Surrey firm

Our client is a highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants and they currently have an exciting career opening for a Trainee Tax Accountant.

The successful applicant will join a dynamic and supportive team and will be given a training contract in order to study either the CFAB or ATT initially and then to move on to do the ACA Qualification. You will be a recent A Level school leaver with a strong academic background to include A and B Grades at GCSE Level and good A Level Grades ideally with an expected/achieved B Grade or above in Mathematics.

The role is both challenging and varied and will involve the following:

* Supporting the team in preparing company & partnership tax returns
* Drafting correspondence with HMRC and clients
* Assisting with technical research
* Supporting the administration of the team

You will also receive on the job training during short secondments to other departments in the firm that will give you experience in a variety of accounting tasks including accounts preparation, VAT compliance and audit work.
