The Special Projects team are dedicated to supporting our clients. Our qualified accountants and project management specialists collaborate with businesses to provide short, medium and long term solutions. They deliver bespoke outsourcing support (via staff secondments) inclusive, but not limited to, Financial Reporting, Accounting and Advisory services. We respond to the challenges of our clients with high quality, value for money technical solutions every time.

you’ll be responsible for the completion, integrity and sign off of specific management accounts and other business partnering services for a portfolio of clients
you’ll provide support to our client’s business units to analyse, understand and improve financial performance
you’ll engage with the client’s management team to analyse, support and critique operational decisions
you’ll ensure that all accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting and legal requirements and all statutory obligations are fully met
you’ll monitor, measure and forecast business performances versus budgets
you’ll demonstrate a good awareness of the importance of risk management (client acceptance, independence, money laundering) issues
you’ll support, motivate and mentor more junior members of the team to ensure they are performing and developing well.

Education, experience and qualifications:

you'll have previous experience in an accounting/financial reporting role
you’ll be business-aware and be able to build and maintain strong client relationships
you’ll have strong communication skills, both written and oral
you’ll be self-motivated, have a willingness to manage projects and be an enthusiastic problem solver
you'll be comfortable using Accounting Software and Microsoft packages.
