Outsourcing and Accounts Senior, London, The City

A well established accountancy firm is looking to recruit a part qualified accountant for its office in The City, London. A good knowledge of VAT, management accounts and year-end accounts is required to assist a variety of clients. The role will entail reviewing accounting transactions within Sage 50 or other accounting software, performing bank and other key account reconciliations, and the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts. There will also be involvement in preparing year end accounts, both for clients who require an outsourcing service and for clients who maintain their own books and records. For larger clients, the role will involve all aspects of the accounting function, such as sales and purchase ledger management (including issuing sales invoices and organising supplier payments), cash flow forecasting, specialised reporting and other ad hoc tasks. You will be working within a team, alongside a junior processing clerk who you will delegate certain tasks too.

The right candidate should be ACCA part qualified with at least 3 to 4 years experience. Proficiency in Excel and Sage software is a must.
