Client Tax Manager - Central London

AJ Chambers are currently working with a leading Independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors who are looking to bring a Client Tax Manager into their team within their Central London office. They are offering an excellent remuneration package as well as broad commercial exposure to a variety of compliance and advisory issues.

The Role
The main purpose of the role is to manage the tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, trusts and non-resident companies and non-domicile individuals, as well as providing support to the Professional Corporate Planning department with compliance related Tax advice.

Main Responsibilities
• Managing the portfolio of personal tax clients across the firm through the client tax team.
• Preparation of complex tax returns and those for HNWIs / Non-Doms / Non-Residents
• Managing the review process of less complex returns
• Developing the firm’s offering of trust tax compliance services
• Training of junior staff in tax compliance and advisory
• Ad hoc advisory work across the group clientele
• Identify tax planning opportunities in the firm’s clientele and referring them to the Professional Corporate Planning department

The Candidate
• CTA qualified
• ACA/ ACCA qualified advantageous, with knowledge and understanding of accounts if not qualified
• Superb client liaison skills
• Ability to multi-task needs of different partners across the business
• Ensuring deadlines are met and finding solutions before deadlines have arisen
