Corporate Tax & Accounting Director - Belgium

An exciting opportunity has just opened up in a market leading firm in Brussels! My client is currently looking for an ambitious Corporate Tax & Accounting Director to join their team. The role would involve a split of business development as well as "Rolling sleeves up" and getting down to actually doing the work with more junior colleagues.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Lead your team in order to make a difference and deliver results in a responsible, authentic and passionate manner.
Bring business knowledge, innovation and insight to create value for clients and the firm.
Lead a portfolio of opportunities and create more from existing clients.
Set the tone in promoting risk management and compliance procedures.
Operate and collaborate effectively with a mindset that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries.
Be responsible for managing within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction
Attract and develop new business

Requirements of the role include:

1) A minimum of 10 years of Corporate Tax & Accounting experience (ideally in Belgium)
2) Fluency in English and French (Dutch highly beneficial)
3) A formal tax and or accounting qualification
