JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tax Associate will:
Assist in creating and maintaining work papers related to taxable income and partner allocations
Review tax work papers prepared by fund administrator and tax preparers
Assist in yearly internal tax planning and estimate procedures
Assist in monthly ASC 740 Tax Provision
Assist with various investor level reporting regimes: FATCA, CDOT, CRS, FBAR, etc
Assist with ad-hoc projects from Investment, Trading, and Investor Relations teams
REQUIRED SKILLS
2+ years of Public Tax experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Compliance background
Previous experience working for or within a Hedge Fund or Private Equity firm
Microsoft Excel proficient
Solid analytical and research skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
