Corporate Tax Senior

Corporate Tax Senior required for Top 10 practice in Ipswich. Salary £35-40k plus paid overtime

Hays Public Practice is recruiting a Corporate Tax Senior for an award-winning, accountancy practice in Ipswich.

You will develop strong, personal relationships with your clients, which is at the forefront of the firms' service approach.

This role will provide Tax compliance services for a wide range of corporate clients with some exposure to tax advisory work on an ad hoc basis. Primary responsibility will be to take control of a portfolio of clients, and their day to day tax compliance affairs, and reporting into the relevant Manager, Director and/or Partner.

You will be self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, have excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills together with an ability and interest in understanding your clients' business.

Requirements

* Competent on routine work without generating significant Manager review points
* Significant understanding of and previous experience within tax compliance
* Tax advisory experience preferable but not essential
* Good knowledge of Excel and Word
* Able to demonstrate a keenness to develop a career within the profession
* CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent
