JOB DESCRIPTION

The Sales Tax Manager will:
• Manage and settle tax audits
• Maintain and reconcile Sales and Use accounts and liabilities
• Interface with individuals in finance and be business partners throughout the organization
• Identify tax exposures through due diligence
• Monitor Sales Use tax law changes and apply accordingly
• Respond to tax notices and manage communications with taxing authorities
• Research tax issues as needed
• Respond to customers
• Manage State Audits and responds to tax notices

REQUIRED SKILLS
• 10+ years of Public Accounting and/or Private Industry experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Solid Tax background (Sales & Use and State & Local)
• Microsoft Office/Suite proficient (Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, etc.)
• Solid analytical and research skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
